These Terms govern your use of our iOS application and website snapscopeai.com (the “Service”). By using SnapScope, you agree to these Terms.
Important: SnapScope is a business tool that uses AI to assist with creating construction estimates. Estimates generated by SnapScope are preliminary and should be reviewed for accuracy. SnapScope does not provide professional construction advice, legal guidance, or binding quotes. Always verify estimates and consult with qualified professionals for final pricing and project decisions.

3) Eligibility & account responsibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts
- You’re responsible for maintaining account security and device access
- Provide accurate information and keep your account details current
- One account per person; don’t share login credentials
- You may use SnapScope for your business purposes
4) Estimates & AI-generated content
- Accuracy: Estimates are AI-generated and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all estimates before using them
- Not binding: Estimates created in SnapScope are preliminary assessments, not binding quotes or contracts
- Professional judgment: Always apply your professional expertise and verify measurements, materials, labor costs, and local pricing
- No liability: We are not responsible for financial losses, project delays, or disputes arising from estimates created using SnapScope
- Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of estimates you provide to clients
- AI limitations: AI processing may misinterpret photos, measurements, or project scope. Always double-check AI-generated content
5) Subscriptions & billing
- Payment processing: Subscriptions sold through Apple App Store; Apple handles all payment processing
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled 24+ hours before renewal
- Management: Cancel or modify subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Entitlements: Subscription features managed via RevenueCat services
- Refunds: Follow Apple’s refund policies; we cannot process App Store refunds directly
- Trial periods: Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before trial ends
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Upload content that violates intellectual property rights or privacy laws
- Input false, misleading, or fraudulent project information
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users’ data
- Use the Service to generate estimates for illegal or harmful projects
- Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Interfere with Service functionality or security measures
- Use the Service for purposes that could harm SnapScope or its users
- Upload photos of people without proper consent (focus on properties and job sites)
7) Your content & data
- Ownership: You retain ownership of all photos, project data, and content you provide
- License to us: You grant us a limited, worldwide license to:
- Process your content through our Service and AI providers
- Store and display your content within your account
- Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service
- Your responsibility: You’re responsible for having the right to upload all content (photos, client data, project information)
- Client data: If you upload client information, you are responsible for having proper authorization and complying with applicable privacy laws
- Prohibited content: Don’t upload content that’s illegal, harmful, violates others’ rights, or contains sensitive personal information beyond what’s necessary for estimates
8) Third-party integrations & AI services
The Service uses and integrates with:
- Apple: App Store payments, device authentication, iOS features
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and entitlements
- Cloud infrastructure providers: Server and database hosting
- Sentry: Error monitoring and performance tracking
- Google Generative AI, OpenAI, Anthropic: AI processing for estimate generation
AI Data Processing:
- Your photos and project data are sent to third-party AI providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic) for processing via their APIs
- According to their current API documentation, these providers do not use API data to train models by default
- Data is retained temporarily for abuse monitoring and service reliability, then deleted per their policies
These providers’ terms and privacy policies apply to their respective services.
9) Service modifications & availability
- We may modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Service availability isn’t guaranteed; temporary outages may occur
- We may suspend accounts for Terms violations or legal/security reasons
- Account deletion: You can delete your account anytime through app settings
- No refunds for partial billing periods when you voluntarily cancel
10) Privacy & data protection
Your privacy is important. Our data practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, including:
- What data we collect and why
- How we protect and use your information
- Your rights regarding your personal data
- AI provider data processing and sharing
11) Disclaimers & limitations
Service provided “as is”:
- No warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for specific purposes
- Estimates are informational tools; don’t replace professional judgment
- We don’t guarantee specific business outcomes or estimate accuracy
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- We don’t guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access
Liability limitations:
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
- Business losses, lost profits, or lost opportunities
- Damages arising from estimates or business decisions based on app data
- Actions of third-party AI providers or service interruptions
- Data loss or security breaches beyond our reasonable control
- Total liability: Our total liability is capped at €100 or subscription fees paid in last 12 months, whichever is higher
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be legally excluded (e.g., fraud, gross negligence)
User responsibility:
- You are solely responsible for estimates provided to clients
- You are responsible for verifying all AI-generated content
- You must comply with all applicable professional licensing and business regulations
12) Intellectual property
- SnapScope app, website, AI models, and related materials are our intellectual property or our licensors’
- You may use the Service for personal and business purposes per these Terms
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
- Estimates you create remain your property, but you grant us the license specified in Section 7
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapScope, its affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Estimates you provide to clients
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Content you upload or disputes with your clients
14) Governing law & disputes
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by French law for disputes involving the service provider
- Jurisdiction: For contractual disputes, courts of Paris, France have jurisdiction
- Consumer protection: Your local mandatory consumer protection laws may also apply and take precedence where applicable
- Dispute resolution: Please contact us first at support@snapscopeai.com to resolve issues before pursuing legal action
- U.S. users: If you’re based in the United States, disputes may be subject to U.S. consumer protection laws
15) Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms with notice via app, email, or website
- Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you don’t agree to changes, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription
16) Termination
By you:
- You may terminate anytime by deleting your account in app settings
- Subscription charges continue until you cancel through Apple
By us:
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
- We may terminate with 30 days’ notice if discontinuing the Service
- We may immediately terminate for fraud, illegal activity, or severe violations
Effect of termination:
- Access to your account and data will be removed
- Data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy (within 30 days)
- No refunds for remaining subscription periods unless required by law
17) General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement
- Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right doesn’t waive that right
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not without our consent
- Force majeure: We’re not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
